2. The company is the largest woman-owned and operated business in the state of Utah — and they are powering their team with empowered female executives. 

3. Young Living pledges to be a “zero waste company” in five years and is committed to green processes and sustainable practices. 

4. In 2019, Young Living will move into its new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Lehi, which is currently under construction.

5. The company, which lost founder Gary Young this year, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. 

2. QUALTRICS

1. Survey says Qualtrics is dominating, starting with its most recent valuation of $2.7 billion in July 2018. While the company is inching toward an IPO — Smith told Forbes that “The goal is not the IPO. It’s beyond that.” 

2. Qualtrics’ customer base is more than 8,500 businesses, including international brands like Coca-Cola, Disney, Target Microsoft, NBC, and JetBlue. 

3. The company is spread across nine countries on four continents, and it is cash-flow positive, with more than $250 million in revenue on “accelerating” growth. 

4. 65% of the Fortune 500 use Qualtrics; 99 of the top 100 U.S. business schools use Qualtrics; and 76% of the Fortune 100 use Qualtrics. 

5. Qualtrics started 5 for the Fight, a movement that invites everyone to give $5 to the fight against cancer. Smith’s dad, Scott Smith, came up with the idea for Qualtrics while battling cancer. Smith dropped out of school to support his dad through radiation and to help build the business.

4. NU SKIN

5. FOUR FOODS GROUP

1. Swig. Kneaders. Mo’Bettahs. R&R Barbeque. Little Caesars. Four Foods Group has transformed and grown each and every one of those brands — making it a bonafide restaurant king-maker. 

2. FFG is serving up more than 5,300 jobs and will move into a new headquarters in Pleasant Grove next year.  

3. The company did more than $142 million last year.

4. Founder Andrew Smith is an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year winner.

1. Domo is in beast mode, thank you very much. The company became a publicly-traded company this year, solidifying its spot on the national stage.

2. It has customers the likes of Target, Nike and Mastercard. More than 400 CEOs use Domo, including many in the Fortune 500. 

3. The company has raised nearly $700 million in funding since inception. 

4. Founder Josh James also founded Omniture, and famously sold it to Adobe for $1.8 billion in 2009. Since then, James coined the term Silicon Slopes and has worked hard to champion our incredible business community.

7. VIVINT SMART HOME

1. Vivint did $882 million in revenue in 2017 and trades on the NYSE. 

2. It is the largest tech company in Utah and serves more than one million customers worldwide. Fast Company named Vivint one of the 50 most innovative companies in America and Forbes named it a “best place to work.” 

3. In October 2014, it opened a Vivint Innovation Center that attracts cream of the crop hardware engineers and industrial designers to work in a collaborative environment and invent the technology of the future. 

4. Vivint Gives Back. Constantly. Since its charitable foundation was founded in 2008, it has donated more than $16 million and more than 160,000 hours of service. 

5. Its sister company, Vivint Solar, is dominating its industry and employing thousands. 

8. CLYDE COMPANIES

1. Since 1926, Clyde has been building Utah. Literally. 

Its subsidiaries are W.W. Clyde & Co., Sunroc Building Materials, Geneva Rock Products, Sunroc Corporation, Beehive Insurance, Clyde Properties. 

2. It has built more state roadway miles than any other locally-owned contractor and collaborates on more than 500 projects annually. It has been part of building almost every collegiate stadium in Utah.

3. Clyde is numbered among the top 5 recyclers in the state — and has made a $30-million investment in clean air initiatives. 

4. It donates money, time, equipment, and materials to Building a Better Community. Notable donations: The Clyde Building, BYU; Maple Dell Scout Camp, Payson; Clyde Institute of Construction Management, UVU; and $2 million to Springville City to complete the new recreation center.

9. ADOBE

1. It’s been nine years since Adobe purchased Orem-based Omniture for $1.8 billion, ultimately leading the $7-billion global giant to set up shop in Utah Valley. 

2. In 2012, it built a 280,000-square-foot campus in Lehi. It is currently building a $90-million facility that will be home to an additional 1,000 employees. The new building will also be the source of an estimated $2.3 billion in new wages and over $85 million in state corporate, payroll and sales taxes over the next 20 years.

3. The company projects that the new positions will pay approximately 300 percent of the Utah County average wage. 

4. Adobe literally paved the way to a Point of the Mountain renaissance for retail, business, and specifically the tech sector. 

5. The current campus houses a full gym, cafe, an NBA-sized basketball court, and panoramic views of Utah Valley. About 50 percent of employees at the Lehi campus are engaged in corporate giving/charitable service projects, and Adobe regularly supports community initiatives that boost STEM learning and engagement in tech careers.

5. The company’s website handles more than 75 million searches daily and has had more than 15 million app downloads, and Ancestry.com offers popular (and spittingly easy) DNA testing to consumers. The company has become the go-to source for genealogy-related TV shows and media interviews nationwide.
